Sisters

I've been spending a lot of time with girls in white dresses lately - First Communion dresses, that is. I enjoy these sessions - getting to know each girl and taking her 'princess' pictures. It is especially fun when two siblings have a special occasion to commemorate. Here are a couple of images of a First Communicant and her big sister, who was recently Confirmed.

One of the things I really love about my job is that I get to watch the children grow up, and see all of their precious stages. I recently had a visit from Baby L for his 6 month portraits. How about a little Charity???

I love that I am able to use my photographic skills as a way to 'give back' to those in need...in addition to my annual Operation Smile fundraiser, I am now a participating photographer in the Littlest Heroes Project. Through Littlest Heroes, I am volunteering to donate portrait sessions to families who have a child with a serious illness or disability as a way to celebrate our littlest heroes. I have noticed more businesses donating to charity lately, most recently http://www.hotelscombined.com/ has come to my attention for their donation of money to three charities every time they receive a blog, Facebook, or Twitter mention of their search engine. I am happy to help raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation, World Wildlife Federation, and World Vision in this way! Urban Girl

I grabbed my camera for a very impromptu photo session with my oldest at this funky looking warehouse this afternoon. We only had 5 minutes, but now that she has seen the photos, she is anxious to go back for a 'real' session. This building has a few different looks, so I'm also eager to go back and explore the possibilities.

Oh Baby!

Today I had the pleasure of photographing the new [adorable] baby boy of one of my recent maternity clients...and they brought Dad along too! Congratulations to the new parents! Here are a few from our session...
