How about a little Charity???

I love that I am able to use my photographic skills as a way to 'give back' to those in need...in addition to my annual Operation Smile fundraiser, I am now a participating photographer in the Littlest Heroes Project. Through Littlest Heroes, I am volunteering to donate portrait sessions to families who have a child with a serious illness or disability as a way to celebrate our littlest heroes. If you or a family that you know could who would benefit from this opportunity, please refer them to http://www.littlestheroesproject.org/ to begin the application process.

I have noticed more businesses donating to charity lately, most recently http://www.hotelscombined.com/ has come to my attention for their donation of money to three charities every time they receive a blog, Facebook, or Twitter mention of their search engine. I am happy to help raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation, World Wildlife Federation, and World Vision in this way! The Hotels Combined search engine is a great way to find and compare hotel rates all around the world, and is very easy to use! Just select your country, state and town, and it does the rest. Urban Girl

I grabbed my camera for a very impromptu photo session with my oldest at this funky looking warehouse this afternoon. We only had 5 minutes, but now that she has seen the photos, she is anxious to go back for a 'real' session. This building has a few different looks, so I'm also eager to go back and explore the possibilities.

Oh Baby!

Today I had the pleasure of photographing the new [adorable] baby boy of one of my recent maternity clients...and they brought Dad along too! Congratulations to the new parents! Here are a few from our session...

Baby it's cold outside...

I love babies in hats, and what better time of year for hats than this? It's freezing outside!

I'm so glad that I got to stay warm inside and play with these two cuties yesterday...little Miss A has grown so much since our last session, and she has such a fun personality. It was great to meet her new little brother!
